No.16 30H features photochromic lenses which darken and lighten depending on your lighting conditions. The gold-plated frame is created using the highest-grade Japanese Titanium contrasted with striking brown leather. Finished with real buffalo horn, the warm and grand finish provides a natural pattern that gives the piece a unique quality. Even with all these completely extravagant materials, the sunglasses remain ulta-lightweight and super-sleek.

These special edition sunglasses and optical frames are designed for the eyewear connoisseur. The selection is truly Tom Ford’s own private collection, redesigning and modernizing his favorite frames using a range of new elevated materials the first collection launched in 2016 with eleven styles celebrating the eleven years Tom Ford had been designing eyewear.
The Tom Ford collection contains some pieces that are vintage inspired; these are utterly exquisite and boast graceful curves and delicate detail. Tom Ford has also added his own Private Collection range, personally designed to his own specifications for a unique finish in Buffalo Horn. The Horn as a natural substance means each piece has its own unique finish.

The luxurious designs incorporate a contemporary, modern twist and are perfect for the fashion conscious client. Each Tom Ford piece provides a subtle or bold statement depending on how the frames are worn, the unique artistic flair of a Tom Ford frame also allows you a beautiful and succinct way to express your personality and play with your own style.
Handmade in Italy, each detail marks subtle distinction which makes each frame one-of-a-kind.

The Private Collection Sunglass is completely timeless, the generously rounded-aviator shape is a streamlined reinvention of classic pilot ensuring you a superb head-turning look. The iconic Private Collection is a magnificent fusion of fashion and practicality that effortlessly decorates any face without flaw.

If you are not familiar with Tom Ford then where have you been? He is arguably one of the most powerful men in fashion. With origins in Gucci, he was responsible for turning the brand into the fresh mainstream brand it is today and transformed their profits from millions to billions… Born in 1961 in Austin, Texas, he studied Art History for a year at New York’s prestigious NYU but dropped out after his first year and turned his efforts to acting. He concentrated on acting for six years and then moved to Los Angeles where he starred in twelve advertising campaigns. Then in the late seventies he arrived back in New York and frequented the popular nightclub Studio 54, he stayed in New York and studied interior design at Parson’s School of Design before spending a year and a half in Paris working as an intern in Chloé’s press office. At this point he realised his interests lay in fashion.

After graduating he started working for Cathy Hardwick then in 1988, Ford moved to Perry Ellis as design director of the Woman’s American Division but he grew tired of the classic-American style and relocated to Milan, where he worked for Gucci. Tom Ford designed his first menswear collection in 1992, and in the same year took over Gucci ready-to-wear, fragrances, image, advertising and store design and just two years later became the brand’s creative director. When Gucci acquired the house of Yves Saint Laurent (YSL) in 1999, Ford was named Creative Director of that label as well. In 2004, he left Gucci and focused on his own label which expanded to include eyewear and cosmetics - Tom Ford has described "the Tom Ford customer" as an ‘international, cultured and well-traveled’, he said he dressed "strong and intelligent women who know their own style".

The Tom Ford Eyewear range is vintage-inspired taking inspiration from the 70s and 80s New York with each design being slightly reminiscent of the outrageous luxury of Studio 54. Utiling bold, high-quality, acetates, Ford combines this inspiration with his fashion house’s extensive back catalogue of seductive and sleek designs.

Give the trademark Tom Ford "T" to someone this Christmas. The sensuous twist never goes unnoticed and elevates every outfit whether it is for the office or the evening.

Our iConnoisseur's collection celebrates the same ideals as Tom Ford when he designs for his client: culture, travel and intelligence. This is showcased throughout each design and the exotic, other-worldly, materials chosen to create such exquisite items. It is the epitome of luxury.
